We're actively seeking a skilled leader to mentor, guide the career progression of individual contributors, and watch over project deliverables — someone who can combine exceptional communication and management skills with good understanding of technical challenges and risks.

What You Will Do

Empower a team of engineers with varying levels of expertise and domain experience to achieve a high level of efficiency, quality, and consistency.

Expand the team through hiring and onboarding. 

Collaborate extensively with stakeholders across the entire company. You’ll work most closely with the hacker community, Product, Design, and your fellow engineers.

Actively participate in your team's day-to-day activities, tracking progress and reporting on it.

As part of an engineering management team that punches far above its weight, you’ll work on projects that influence the processes, efficiency, and development of HackerOne’s Engineering department.

Minimum Qualifications  

3+ years managing software engineering teams

Strong stakeholder management skills

Proven track record of delivering within time and budget constraints

Must be based remotely in UK or Ireland. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cybersecurity and SaaS companies is a plus.

Experience with any technologies in our main stack: PostgreSQL, Rails, GraphQL, Apollo, React
