Responsibilities: 

Provide technical guidance to the team and focus on delivering quality product Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams Build right Agile culture and drive engineering efforts in an agile environment Provide employee development, team building, coaching and mentoring. Aid in the recruiting of future Omnicell engineers. Still be a member of the technical team and “ship” software 20% of the time. Involvement in design reviews and seeking approvals from other members. Implement the key corporate values of customer focus, accountability, performance and integrity.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Technical:

Experience building web-based SPA applications with Angular, Ideally using C# and the .NET Framework. Experience scaling and deploy applications in the cloud using technologies like AWS, Lamdba, Docker, Kubernetes. Ability to guide the teams with the realities of shipping software to customers quickly.

Leadership:

Demonstrated leadership and experience guiding teams  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to forge great relationships with key stakeholders.  Clear understanding of Agile development practices. Ability to mentor and grow junior engineers. Ability in inspiring teams to execute to a common vision.

Basic Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree 14 to 16 years’ experience in software engineering 4+ years of experience building web-based SPA applications with Angular or similar. C# and .Net Core experience  Angular 4 or equivalent 2+ Years of experience delivering software in the cloud 2+ years’ experience leading a software development team, with min of 5 directs 2+ years’ experience leading a software development team

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

Master’s degree Experience in driving projects using Agile SCRUM 1+ year experience working in Healthcare.

Work Conditions:

Hybrid Ability to travel 10% of the time.
