The Quality Assurance Manager IT India will lead and drive product quality through risk-based, repeatable processes which produce standard, auditable results, metrics, and quality gates that ensure a consistent, objective approach to validate our product is fit for use. They will represent the voice of the customer and analyze the quality from a customer point of view. This is a C#/.Net ecosystem. Duties include:
driving test strategies that optimize automation and apply proper test rigor.establishing quality gates to ensure quality processes are applied to all product changes.analyzing production trends to garner feedback for continuous improvement of the quality processes.implementing automated and manual test beds to increase code coverage.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an innovative strategy for the testing and validation of all product changesBuild and coach a team responsible for test plan creation and execution keeping test prioritization in mindDrive the creation and maintenance of test libraries to include Functional , Regression , System and End to End testsContinually seek to improve existing testing processes, tooling and artifacts and maintain effective documentation of the sameDevelop processes to more tightly integrate Software testing with Product Development; which will include working in Test Automation strategiesDevelop Test Automation Strategy to increase coverage and drive effective test executionWork with Development and Product Management to ensure appropriate test plan creation and execution keeping in line with customer asksDrive Quality Gates for each Software Release working in conjunction with Release Management , ensuring adherence to Release Sign off criteriaCreate Metrics, Dashboards and effective Reports that chart the trend of Product QualityDriving Module Knowledge and expertise sessions between Subject Matter Experts and Test Engineers to drive the culture of “Smart Testers”Drive Anomaly resolution through monitoring of Defect and Bug Backlogs , highlighting the aging of defects to Engineering and Product ManagersResource Management providing mentoring and direction to quality assurance professionalsYou will report to Director- Quality ManagementThis is a managerial roleQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field8+ years in the software testing field having successfully designed, written and executed test plans.Prior management, coaching or mentoring of a small group.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.Solid understanding and knowledge of test automation tools, quality assurance processes and methods used in software development.Experience implementing Continuous Integration and build automation systemsBenefits:
