Roles & Responsibilities
Lead sourcing processes across JW Equipment, OGIO and Callaway Performance Gear and collaboratively support seasonal product development process and timelines by managing costing, lead times, MOQs, capacity forecasting and maintenance of sourcing records and master data within PLM systemsCollaborate with HQ to help ensure timely PO placement that aligns with the “locked” capacity which is essential for on time product launches.Facilitate and run bi-weekly Capacity meetings with HQMonitor multiple reports such as OOR, output, capacity & container booking schedules, from manufacturing partners to confirm that manufacturing milestones and ship dates are being met.Frequently monitor all key ship dates and communicate with both the manufacturing partner and HQ team about challenges (material shortages, material delays, material quality, RSL issues, and finished good shortages due to quality issues) and action steps to ensure the manufacturing partner is working towards a favorable solution.Collaborate with development team on a process that will ensure the FOB’s are accurate and provided in a timely manner so that each product is accurately detailed in the system.Implement and manage supplier onboarding, contracts, compliance, exclusivity and NDA agreementsWork in collaboration with Global teams (both Germany and US) as main point of contact for JW Product Teams and US Supply Chain teams.Partners with the Development team on product costing and assists in negotiating bulk costing to meet overall company IMU targets.The key point of contact with JW Product Team and acts as liaison to resolve issues relating to the Development and Commercialization of Equipment product.Maintains detailed commercial offering documents and works with the Master Data team to ensure the successful configuration of materials within ERP & Warehouse Management systems.Supports JW Product Development Core Team deliverables, including effective communication with global stakeholders regarding new product offerings, commercialization status, timely master data creation, and sample requirements.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Highly organized and able to work under time pressure across global time zones.Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in the execution of workA keen sense of accountability and ownership, excellent diligence, and good record-keeping are critical.Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interface with all levels of the organization to achieve assigned objectives in a cross-functional team-based environment.Able to quickly build solid partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges.Minimum 5 years of sourcing operations management experience, preferable in Outdoor Equipment space.Solid experience in sourcing of Outdoor Equipment as well as production process, construction, lead times, material management, capacity, output and open order reports.Excellent communication skills in English. This is a must.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Centric PLM, Info Nexus & SAPHistory of managing a team desiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills#LI-TN1
