Manager, Sourcing - Hybrid

We are seeking a Manager, Sourcing to lead a team dedicated to ensuring we have the supplies, services, and equipment needed to support our life-saving work.   In this role, you will oversee strategic sourcing programs, negotiate vendor contracts, and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals to deliver the best value while mitigating risk. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders, you’ll drive initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our supply chain. Additionally, you’ll manage supplier relationships, lead cost-containment efforts, and provide key insights and analytics to senior leadership, ensuring Vitalant remains equipped to fulfill its mission.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Location:  Hybrid work location working on-site in Scottsdale, AZ National Headquarters Monday - Wednesday and working in a remote/ at-home office Thursday and Friday.

As a Manager, Sourcing, you'll get to:

Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing programs and methodologies to align with business needs.
Analyze product requirements and market capabilities to create cost-effective sourcing strategies and negotiate vendor contracts.
Build and standardize tools to enhance sourcing efficiency and consistency, including RFP processes and scoring models.
Resolve complex supply chain issues, implement expense reduction programs, and define initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
Provide detailed analytics and reports on spend, supplier performance, and sourcing insights to support organizational decision-making.
Ensure supplier contract compliance, manage risk, and develop mitigation plans to support business continuity.
Oversee contracting and daily operations for the sourcing team, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
Manage diverse categories, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver value and drive strategic account management best practices.Knowledge/ Education  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Master’s degree preferred.    Licenses/ Certifications  CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred.    Experience  Seven years of related experience required to include five years of sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management experience and two years supervisory experience.   Healthcare Supply Chain Management experience preferred.  Experience in Workday preferred.  Project Management Experience preferred.      Skills/ Abilities  Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.   Must be able to maintain confidentiality.   Effective oral and written communication skills.  Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.  Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.  Ability to think strategically and independently.  Must have proficient computer skills.  Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of management.  Ability to establish priorities and follow through on projects, paying close attention to detail with minimal supervision.  Ability to travel (25%)    #ITCORP
