An experienced procurement professional with expertise in RFQ process, evaluating bids, and managing end-to-end requisition processes. Adept in CAPEX procurement across multiple categories (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Administrative), handling both greenfield and brownfield projects. Strong knowledge in SAP MM Module and S4HANA, proficient in e-bidding through Ariba, and highly skilled in commercial negotiations, including GST, INCO-terms, and high-value contract creation in collaboration with the legal team. How You'll Help Us Connect the World: RFQ and Collecting Quotes: Proactively manage the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items by preparing and issuing RFQs to qualified suppliers. Collect quotes and assess suppliers based on pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards to ensure the best overall value for the company. Preparation of Comparatives: Develop detailed comparative analysis reports for suppliers based on quotations, price variations, lead times, and technical compliance to help management make informed decisions. CAPEX Procurement (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Administrative): Lead procurement activities for major CAPEX projects, focusing on Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Administrative components in both greenfield and brownfield projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets. Expertise in SAP MM Module and S4HANA: Manage end-to-end procurement processes using SAP MM Module and S4HANA systems, including requisition creation, purchase order generation, goods receipt, and invoice processing. Ensure data accuracy and compliance in all procurement transactions entered into SAP. E-Bidding through Ariba: Conduct e-bidding events through the Ariba platform, ensuring fair competition and transparency. Use advanced sourcing techniques and negotiation strategies to achieve cost reductions and value improvements. Proficiency with INCO-Terms and Commercial Terms: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to appropriate INCO-terms for international shipments, mitigating risks related to shipping, insurance, and responsibilities. Stay updated on commercial terms, including GST regulations, ensuring contracts and procurement transactions are compliant with local and international tax laws. High-Value Contract Creation: Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the legal department, to draft and finalize high-value contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Negotiate contract terms that provide the best value while minimizing risk exposure to the organization. End-to-End Requisition Closure: Manage the full lifecycle of requisitions from initiation to closure, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. Coordinate with relevant departments (finance, operations, and legal) to ensure all approvals and processes are completed before closing requisitions. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement in delivery, quality, and cost savings. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and work on enhancing the supply base for critical categories. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and regulations, including legal, ethical, and financial requirements. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supplier performance, contract management, and compliance with INCO-terms and tax regulations. Required Qualifications for Consideration: B. TECH – Mech/Civil/Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation. Minimum 12 ~ 14 years of relevant working experience, atleast 3 ~5 years work experience in Managerial or sub-Managerial cadre.
