Title and Summary

Manager, Sourcing & Supplier Management - Technology

Overview:
•\tManages the full scope of Mastercard’s supply chain to effectively meet its business needs while mitigating risk.
•\tThis includes the development and execution of global sourcing strategies, assessing and managing supplier risk, providing payment solutions, and growing supplier diversity.

Role:
•\tManages the supply base across several technology divisions to reduce cost and maximize value
•\tProvides expertise on market conditions, industry trends, category/product knowledge and emerging supply options
•\tPartners across the Sourcing and Third Party Risk Management functions as well as all business and finance functions to understand historical spend data, future demands, obligations, business needs and consequently develops sourcing strategy and implementation plans for the regions
•\tStrengthens relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
•\tProgress and administer procure-to-pay policies through trainings and providing transparency through communications and reporting.
•\tContributing to the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend, defining requirements, developing strategies, authoring RFx's and negotiating contracts while improving supplier performance and mitigating risk.
•\tManages improvement initiatives
•\tDeep knowledge and understanding of sourcing, risk, and legal processes
•\tNegotiates large transactions

All About You:
•\tSourcing experience specifically with Technology categories such as Software, Hardware, Cloud, Telecom, and/or Services.
•\tExperience developing & managing senior & key stakeholder category and regional relationships
•\tExperience managing supply chains within business units, reducing costs and risks while improving value and efficiencies
•\tExperience successfully developing & implementing business unit strategies, enabling spend management, supplier performance and risk mitigation
•\tExperience executing sourcing transformation projects and supporting strategic initiatives
•\tExperience managing sourcing processes and operations
•\tExperience with Risk Management
•\tSuccessfully led large cross-functional projects and process improvement efforts
•\tDemonstrated success building relationships and delivering results on a key strategic initiative
•\tExperience identifying capability gaps and successfully worked to build/grow skills within team
•\tExposure to delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership
•\tBachelor’s degree or higher required, with a preference for Technology, Supply Chain, and/or Business focus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
