Log back in Manager, Special Programs Posting Number 2024-13724 Posted Date 10 hours ago(8/2/2024 4:32 PM) Location : Location US-NY-New York Hybrid Remote Work Classification Hybrid: 60% to 80% Onsite Department Tisch Special Programs (Administrators) School/Division Tisch School of the Arts (TS1035) Compensation Grade Band 52 Union N/A FT/PT Full-Time Category Student Services/Athletics Position Summary Manage program operations and student services for the Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA) Office of Special Programs. Advise students regarding school and university academic requirements, including the online Masters in Media Producing program and Tisch Minors; track and report on Tisch Minors. Administer High School (HS) meetings with academic departments. Develop and deliver abroad curricular materials, new student orientation sessions, and pre-departure orientation for non-Global Network sites. Develop and implement events and activities. Serve as a liaison to TSOA and NYU offices. Supervise staff and student employees. Manage and monitor staff and event budgets. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in delivering student services, student advisement or counseling, program and budget management, and supervising staff.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years Prior experience in an academic or performing arts environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, interpersonal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with a diverse population and meet specific deadlines. Familiarity with word process, spreadsheet and database software. May involve periodic site visits to program sites. Passion for, understanding of, and commitment to inclusion, diversity, belonging, equity, and accessibility.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with SIS/PeopleSoft type applications; data analytics. Experience in supporting online learning programs; experience in online learning design. Experience delivering programs in international locations. Equivalent experience in corporate training or employee development is applicable. Ensure excellent customer service for prospective and existing students.
Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,050.00 to USD $81,950.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
