Manager, Store Maintenance

Job Description 

Store Maintenance at A&F Co. is committed to maintaining our stores to reflect the quality standards associated with our brands.  We dedicate ourselves to corporate and regulatory compliance, as well as ensuring proper operation of all aspects of the physical space to create an optimal, safe and cost-effective environment for our customers and associates.  As a Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for all maintenance related activities and vendors for an assigned region of stores.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Maintaining company standards for the appearance and operation of storesManaging up to five direct reports, providing training and continuous developmentOverseeing creation and management of maintenance budgetsEstablishing departmental processes / procedures and performing regular audits to ensure complianceLeading development and function of maintenance programsLeading development of process improvements with focus on efficiency, effective communication and spend reductionManaging vendors to A&F performance and quality expectationsOversee delegation and execution of brand and construction projects including roll outs, remodels, new stores, and closingsCollaborating with and maintaining positive working relationships with senior cross-functional partners (Store Operations, Asset Protection, Health & Safety, Real Estate, etc.)

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor’s Degree or related experience5-10 years of relevant professional experience3+ years of retail maintenance or facilities management experience in a multi-site settingRelevant technical knowledge of general maintenance / facilities management including trades:  HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and paintingProven ability to successfully lead a team Strong organization, time management and delegation skillsStrong vendor management and negotiation skillsExtremely detail oriented and the ability to work and learn independentlyAbility to work with a sense of urgency to identify, research and resolve issuesExceptional communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of managementAbility to travel both domestically and internationallyProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and ProjectExperience using Fexa CMMS software preferred
