Goodrich Corporation d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Manager, Supplier Performance in Haltom City, TX. Up to 80% national and international travel per year. This is a hybrid role, must go into the Haltom City, Texas office two times per week when not on national/international business travel.

What YOU will do

Establish partnerships at all levels within the supplier, emphasizing collaboration, clear expectations, common goals, trust, and transparency.Identify risks and gaps in supplier manufacturing processes and develop sustainable gap closure plans.Assist suppliers in establishing data/metrics to evaluate the health and stability of the manufacturing process.Jointly develop recovery plans with suppliers, then implement operating rhythm and metrics to hold supplier and stakeholders accountable for performance to plan.Ensure suppliers have robust processes for shop floor control, order management/production control.Assist suppliers to improve efficiency & utilization, set-up reduction, equipment layout.Drive engagement and crossfunctional collaboration between Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality for both Collins Aerospace and suppliers.Assure supplier preparedness for activities such as executive reviews and readiness assessments.Support corporate improvement initiatives by ensuring the supply base is trained on the common processes, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and other improvement tools.Ensure technical reviews are supported with the appropriate knowledge and experience to provide a thorough evaluation of the supplier’s manufacturing capabilities.Ensure suppliers are managing capacity, demand and resource plans that demonstrate rate readiness.Prioritize supply base risk management and actions with sufficient lead time prior to production rate increases.Complete due diligence activities to identify and assess supplier operational risks.Support the demand management planning process to meet on-time delivery targets and future rate breaks.Develop effective shop floor visuals and efficient material flow in the value stream.Ensure demonstrated yield is used in all manufacturing planning.

Qualifications You Must Have

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field and at least eight years of progressive experience in a Supply Chain Management, Supplier Performance, Supplier Recovery or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience in a Supply Chain Management, Supplier Performance, Supplier Recovery or related role would be acceptable.Must possess at least 5 years of experience managing execution of process improvements and deployment of delivery assurance systems to ensure early identification of shortages.Must possess at least 5 years of experience identifying risks to on-time deliveries and manage mitigation efforts.Must possess at least 5 years of experience developing gap analysis and closure plans to significantly improve supplier performance to defined standard.Must possess at least 5 years of experience managing collaboration with other departments to meet customer requirements.Must possess at least 5 years of experience with supply chain, vendor management, materials management, Risk Assessment / Mitigation.Must possess at least 5 years of experience of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Must possess at least 1 year of experience with ERP systems software (SAP, NetSuite, SharePoint etc.).

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.

The salary range is $114,546.00 - $200,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
