Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy Development:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency.Analyze market trends and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.Import and Local Procurement Planning:
Oversee the procurement process for raw materials, including both imports from various countries and local purchases, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize sourcing strategies and maintain quality standards.Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.Implement inventory control measures to improve accuracy and reduce waste.Supplier Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of raw materials.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.Logistics and Distribution:
Manage logistics operations, including inbound logistics (IBL), outbound logistics (OBL), warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products.Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to enhance performance and professional growth.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.Prepare and present regular reports to the Plant Head on supply chain metrics, challenges, and opportunities.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain operations.Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for supply chain initiatives.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics (including IBL and OBL), inventory management, and procurement.Proficiency in SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and IBP (Integrated Business Planning).Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
