Manager, Supply Chain Net Zero
**Summary:** Meta is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain Net Zero to join the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering team. This role will lead Supply Chain Net Zero objectives and initiatives, which are critical contributors to Meta’s 2030 Net Zero Commitment. The Manager, Supply Chain Net Zero will focus on driving supply chain's net zero strategy including: (a) executive engagement across Supply Chain's critical suppliers, (2) engaging suppliers in the development of emissions reductions activities, (3) ensuring alignment with and support from cross functional partners, (4) supporting compliant supplier reporting for quality emissions data collection and analysis, and (5) supporting/developing a team of program managers/supplier managers. Candidates must be willing to work on developing a small team of supplier managers, coaching the team on strategic sourcing and executive supplier engagements within a supply chain organization. **Required Skills:** Manager, Supply Chain Net Zero Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Net Zero objectives and key results in addition roadmap development. Drive engagement strategies with supply chain's critical suppliers on value chain Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction. 2. Develop and analyze supplier GHG data, targets, objectives/priorities/roadmaps and solutions for trends, projections and decision-making in collaboration with Meta's broader sustainability partners. 3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., commercial/technical sourcing teams, supplier managers, sustainability teams, legal, operations managers, etc.) to deliver against program objectives and key results in a timely and efficient manner while communicating progress within and outside of Meta's supply chain organization. 4. Scale the impact of supply chain's critical suppliers and as well as internal and shared initiatives to accelerate value chain GHG emissions reduction. 5. Partner with cross functional partners/teams to develop, collaborate, and support the execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives. 6. Effectively communicate program progress internally incorporating supply chain nuances and their impacts. 7. Initiate, develop, and support the creation and implementation of net zero activities in supply chain processes including, but not limited to, sourcing (e.g., supplier selection/awards, contract negotiation, general scoping requirements, and supplier management/performance), new product introduction, and engineering (manufacturing/production quality engineering) processes. 8. Supporting and developing a small team of supplier managers. 9. Capacity to travel up to 15% of the time. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 10. We are looking for candidates who have experience building collaborative relationships that lead to impact and developing solutions in ambiguous situations. Also, candidates who thrive on solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, trade-offs, and including different points of view to determine a path forward. 11. Undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field. 12. 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing within a hardware supply chain organization. Experience with hardware BOMs, supplier selection including balancing both business and technical requirements with corporate goals (while maintaining cost targets). 13. Direct experience in sourcing/negotiation (i.e. supplier selection through award and contract negotiations), supplier management and supplier performance management including supplier/executive business reviews, objectives/roadmap development, GHG accounting, and GHG target setting. 14. Proven analytical experience to manage complex data, advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency. 15. Program management skills with demonstrated experience to self-manage complex delivery in a matrixed environment. 16. Proven experience to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions.. 17. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams on shared programs/goals and successful outcomes and managing relationships with complex stakeholders ((e.g., sustainability, sourcing/procurement, business, legal, commercial, and engineering teams). 18. Experience with (and incorporating into programs/projects) global and sectoral sustainability initiatives including regulatory requirements. 19. Understanding of Meta’s products and services (and related infrastructure dependencies). 20. Proficiency/direct experience in the manufacturing sector (e.g., CM/ODM/JDM supplier and/or operational engagement, etc.). 21. Experience with pivoting communication styles based on the audience, including internal and external (e.g., supplier) C-suite/executive communication. Demonstrated experience in translating technical terminology including net zero requirements in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a varied range of stakeholders and partners. 22. Prior people management (includes contractors/contingent workers). 23. Demonstrated experience in GHG accounting including scope 3, supplier engagement to drive sustainability goals/initiatives, GHG target setting, and roadmap development in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 24. GHG software and tools operation experience. 25. Tableau proficiency (or related products like Power BI). 26. Proficiency in enterprise-wide sourcing and contracts tools. Understanding of ERP systems. 27.
