The position
You will be leading the new established team Sustainability & Project Governance, that consists of six professionals with more to come to accommodate the activities across NNPR, requirements from our owner, and legislations. Their responsibilities are to e.g., govern deliverables to projects (NPE, PSG, IPG and local), ensure compliance to our owner’s standard for EHS Management of Change, drive sustainability strategy, incl. initiatives to support the Circular for Zero strategy, support value chain to reach target and ESG Data controlling and reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Independently and skillfully lead the team, ensuring accountability, responsibility, and consultation regarding the oversight and management of your area of responsibilities. Provide coaching and guidance for the team's professional development to ensure low turnover and absence rates while attracting talent. Foster an environment that encourages innovation, transparency, accountability, and effective management. Leverage the team's expertise to achieve the corporate strategy. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting and optimize the department's process landscape. Monitor governance performance and implement change management practices. Engage with stakeholders for alignment. Utilize the cLEAN Supply System.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
An academic degree combined with a track record of creating followership through changes in how we work: leadership experience. A background in business strategy, project management, and implementation within a growing company. Proficiency in both Danish and English. Project management skills and the ability to establish and maintain structures and processes. Experience managing project deliverables within sustainability is a plus.
On a personal level, you excel in fast-paced environments, maintain high work quality, and enjoy collaboration. You possess practical knowledge of several parts of a company’s value chain and have LEAN experience. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record, direct management experience, and the ability to lead stakeholders indirectly are preferred., You are a team player with a "can-do" attitude, and you are eager to learn, innovate, and improve process efficiency.
About the department
You will report to the Senior Manager of the Sustainability Partnering department at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech organized in the Business Support Area. This area is headed by NNPR’s CFO and consist of Finance, Indirect Procurement, Business Partnering and Legal. Sustainability Partnering are growing with currently 27 employees and several external consultants and with you, we will be four managers, that appreciate each other’s company, straight talk and room for a good laugh. The other two teams in the department are the Environment team responsible for environment, nature and climate and the Health & Safety team responsible for construction and fire safety, physical security, chemistry, and enzymes, etc. We are collaborating with relevant authorities, are responsible for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and support NNPR in licensing, corporate strategy, and project execution.
