About the Job:
The Integration Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of all integration solutions across the organization, ensuring the seamless flow of data between enterprise systems. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of integration platforms, with a primary focus on Mulesoft, EDI, and related technologies. The Integration Manager will lead a team of developers and architects, including offshore resources, to deliver high-quality integration solutions that support business objectives, optimize system performance, and enhance operational efficiency, and integration with AI platforms.
A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:
System Integration Management:
Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions across the company’s enterprise applications. Ensure optimal performance and scalability of Mulesoft integrations, supporting existing and future business needs. Oversee integrations for key systems, including Microsoft D365, Manhattan OMS, Manhattan POS, and other relevant enterprise applications, ensuring compatibility and alignment with business processes.Operational Support and Troubleshooting:
Oversee and manage integration-related incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Collaborate with other teams and managers to diagnose and resolve complex issues affecting integrations, ensuring end-to-end system functionality. Implement proactive monitoring tools and processes to identify and address potential system vulnerabilities or performance bottlenecks. Provide technical guidance and support during critical escalations, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.Architecture and Design:
Define and enforce integration architecture standards, focusing on security, scalability, and reusability. Facilitate design and data mapping sessions to create innovative and efficient integration solutions. Ensure all integration designs comply with enterprise architecture principles and industry standards.
Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify integration opportunities that drive operational efficiency and business growth. Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance the organization’s integration capabilities. Lead initiatives to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the performance of integration systems.
What it takes to Join:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Management, or equivalent work experience. 6+ years’ experience working in Information Technology performing application analysis, design, and development. 5+ years’ experience working in retail and an in-depth knowledge of the retail business processes. Experience with Microsoft D365 integrations is strongly preferred. 3+ years experience with Mulesoft development including Mulesoft connectors and API management 5+ years of first hand experience in software development (Java, J2EE, SOAP, REST, Web Services) Experience using SOAP UI and Postman as well as first hand knowledge of XML/XSLT, JSON and HTTP concepts Knowledge of integration best practices, including API management, security protocols, and scalable design principles. 3+ years’ experience supervising or managing an IT staff including the managing of large business integration efforts and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing. Able to lead a technical team in the support and maintenance of an application integration set. Proven ability to manage development and architecture teams, including offshore resources. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others in the performance of assigned duties.

Collaborate with other managers and cross-functional teams to design integration strategies, resolve issues, and align solutions with business goals. Identify opportunities for team members to enhance their skills through training, project participation, and exposure to new technologies, supporting career development and retention.

Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
