The Talent Acquisition Manager is directly responsible for designing and implementing recruiting strategies for the Americas Region along with attracting and hiring the best talent for short-term business win and long-term company growth. Responsibilities include improving end-to-end recruiting processes as Process Champion, identifying qualified candidates with high-potential, as well as leveraging recruiting channels for effective sourcing and hiring cost optimization. This role also leads the complete recruitment cycle, including managing job postings, conducting resume screening, initial phone interviews, online candidate assessments, onsite interviews, stakeholder management and offer negotiations.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Develop recruiting strategies best fit for the Americas Region and aligned with the global recruiting strategy.
+ Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans and manage the Headcount Approval process.
+ Manage current and future job openings with Americas HR Team and dedicated Recruiters. Determine best-fit hiring model and drive direct sourcing activities.
+ Manage recruiting channels – external agency partners, social media, universities, referral program, and job boards to drive both Quality of Hire and Cost Optimization.
+ Oversee all stages of candidate experience - from application until offer including on-boarding.
+ Train and coach Americas HR team and Hiring Managers to increase quality of hiring decision and ensure strong attraction and engagement of candidates
+ Design and drive employer branding activities with clear prioritization and pragmatic approach
+ Prepare and review our annual recruiting related budget, and measure key recruiting KPIs
+ Drive strategic hire for key leadership role(s), closely worked with the Regional and Global Talent teams
+ Partner with hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process. This includes initial preparation, refining job descriptions, lead regular update meetings, set expectations, coaching, and general guidance
+ Develop a network and candidate pipeline of potential future hires
About you:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a business related discipline preferred
+ Master’s Degree preferred
+ Min. 7 years of experience as internal Talent Acquisition role or HR practitioner with in-depth recruiting experiences. Recruiting agency experience also very relevant
+ Experience to drive Regional-level recruiting strategies. Work experience in a growth business is strongly preferred
+ Experience to drive direct sourcing with multiple channels to ensure cost optimization without losing quality of candidates
+ Multinational work experience preferred with the ability to work with global colleagues and many cultures
+ Experience with Google Suite preferred
+ Experience with SuccessFactors HRIS preferred
+ Persistence in the desire and effort to find great talent for Barry Callebaut
+ Ability to effectively communicate, develop, and maintain relationships with Barry Callebaut executives, Human Resources colleagues, site leaders, business partners, hiring managers, third-party agencies and vendors, candidates at all levels of experience, and new employees upon hire
+ Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
+ Demonstrated negotiation and influencing competencies
+ Attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy
+ Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to manage, prioritize, and reprioritize a high recruiting volume based on the changing needs of the organization
