**Overview**
The Talent Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining Spark’s employee database, including both US-based and globally distributed (off-shore) employees, and using this data to provide leadership with visibility into the billability and utilization of Spark’s workforce.
Related to globally distributed employees, the Talent Operations Manager will work with Spark’s global talent leads to manage the tracking and fulfillment of resource needs from initial need identification through to hiring.
The Talent Operations Manager will also be focused on building/recommending tools and processes to streamline and scale resource operations both inside and outside the US.
**Responsibilities**
**Talent Operations (Globally Distributed Resources)**
+ Manage Spark’s global resourcing initiative, including:
+ Gathering resource requests from Client/Practice leads and securing Finance approval
+ Initiating recruitment with Global Centers
+ Working with Global Centers to manage employee recruitment, hiring, onboarding/training, performance, hours reporting, utilization, and career pathing
+ Tracking all changes to the globally distributed subset of Spark’s workforce
+ Identify employees’ skillsets and strengths/weaknesses in order to appropriately map the right talent to the right (existing and new) business at the right time.
+ Efficiently prioritize and communicate status of open needs based on revenue status, state of the business, and current staffing structure.
**Partnership & Collaboration**
+ Partner with internal client teams in a positive, professional, and constructive way; establish solid relationships
+ Possess ability to influence, make business recommendations, and pivot easily to alternative plans
+ Comfortable working in a cross-functional role and being accountable to multiple stakeholders
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree; concentration in HR, business operations, marketing, or advertising preferred
+ Minimum 5 years of project management experience in marketing, client, and/or agency experience preferred
+ Very strong Excel skills are a must.
+ Experience preferred:
+ Ability to maintain a database within Excel
+ Knowledge of XLOOKUP and FILTER functions
+ Knowledge of Power Query/Power Pivot
+ Experience in a resource management role strongly preferred
+ Successfully worked in an operations role in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
+ Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
+ Comfortable working in matrixed organizational structure with accountability to more than one manager
+ Highly organized with acute attentional to detail
+ Exercises discretion when presented with sensitive and/or confidential information (e.g. financial information, personnel information, etc.)

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
