As a Manager supporting Technology, you will collaborate with Technology and Finance teams on a regular basis to understand how they drive value across TWDC. In this role, you will be part of the Technical Services and Allocations team which is responsible for managing all aspects of the services and allocation processes from seven different technology pillars and developing executive storytelling decks with key financial data connecting costs to services and client utilization.
This position will be based in either Bristol, CT or Burbank, CA and will report to the Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for DE&E Technology.
Responsibilities
You would join a collaborative team performing financial responsibilities for DE&E Technology, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, project modeling, and financial planning analysis. You would collaborate with other Finance and Accounting professionals to help advance our team’s support.
Team Leadership: Manage one Finance Professional dedicated to building and maintaining a multi-billion Service Costing and Allocation models for the technology organization.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with client-facing finance teams and lines-of-business (LOBs) leaders to ensure transparency and understanding regarding service costing, allocations, and drivers of change.
Financial Management: Oversee and contribute to forecast, AOP (Annual Operating Plan), LRP (Long Range Plan) and quarterly closes for all technology service financials including mapping costs to a service portfolio and financial planning analysis.
Model & Process Improvement: Continuously evolve service costing and allocation workflows to drive process efficiencies, improve model analytics, refine metrics, and lead communication of the logic of the allocations processes across the Technology groups.
Strategic Analysis: Conducts strategic analysis as requested by Technology leaders and LOBs, providing actionable insights to support business objectives.
Service Analysis and Presentation: Analyze and present the services supported by Technology to Senior Technology Leadership and Senior Line of Business Leaders, emphasizing their impact on business.
Allocation Management: Manage all aspects of allocations including metric/criteria utilization to ensure client P&Ls are appropriately charged for services consumed for all forecast and close timeframes.
Executive Reporting: Compile and delivery comprehensive presentations for senior leaders, influencing strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience
Collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently
Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with SAP preferred
Executive presence; comfortable and confident engaging with senior leaders
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. MBA, CPA) preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in SQL, cloud based data warehouse (AWS , Snowflake) and data modeling tools.
Database Warehouse and Management: Develop and maintain a structured data warehouse supporting financial modeling, analytics, and reporting. Oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring seamless integration of data from multiple sources and Optimize database performance, ensure data integrity, and support advanced analytics.
The hiring range for this position in Bristol or Burbank is $124,900 - $152,500 per year and in New York City is $130,800 - $159,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
