**Position Overview:**

Manages and integrates the activities and resources of assigned patient care unit(s) consistent with the overall objectives and activities of Sutter Health. Additionally, provides clinical and administrative direction to personnel and activities associated with providing quality-nursing care. Combines skills of understanding, selecting, developing and motivating diverse groups of people to ensure effective and efficient unit operation. This position also coordinates prehospital activities and conducts run reviews and completes follow up. Is designated emergency preparedness coordinator.

**EDUCATION:**
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
+ **BSN:** Bachelors _preferred_
**CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:**
+ **RN** -Registered Nurse of California
+ **BLS** -Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
**TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:**
+ **8 years** of recent relevant experience.
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:**
+ Must demonstrate the knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to tactfully direct the efforts of diverse health professionals to meet patients’ needs.
+ Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, supervision, budget and human relations are required.
+ Demonstrated ability to train and supervise staff in the special skills necessary to meet patient needs.

Pay Range is $83.00 to $132.80 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
