Manager, Test Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Test Engineer, you will ensure the quality and functionality of software by meticulously designing and executing test plans. You will identify and document software defects, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. This role involves both manual and automated testing, requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will play a crucial part in delivering reliable and robust software products to users.
What will you do in this role:
Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage based on software requirements and design specifications.Coordinate and manage testing activities across various phases of the software development lifecycle, including functional, integration, performance, and security testing.Provide guidance, training, and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks. Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborate closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.Actively participate in product design and requirements review meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback from a testing perspective.Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under stress and identify potential bottlenecks.Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the testing team remains at the forefront of technology.Ensure that the software delivers a seamless and intuitive user experience. Conduct usability testing and provide actionable feedback to enhance the user interface.What Should you have:
Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical testing, quality assurance, or related fields.Strong understanding of SAP modules such as SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, etc. and their functionalities is preferred.Prior experience with S/4 HANA would be advantageous.Familiarity with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.Proven experience in various testing methodologies such as Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Performance Testing, and Load Testing.Knowledge of programming languages like ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) can be beneficial for understanding the backend processes.Certifications in quality assurance, application management, project management and testing are preferred, such as: ITSQB (such as Certified Tester or Advanced Test Manager), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Tester Certification (CAT), Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT), PMP, or other relevant certifications.In-depth knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jira XRAY, Tricentis TOSCA, HP ALM, Load Runner).Good functional testing skills to ensure the application meets business requirements.Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in project management and testing methodologies.Effective communication, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Our technology teams operate as business partners, proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities.
