The Manager of Global Third-Party Risk  is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive compliance programs that address third-party risk, anti-corruption, supply chain due diligence, and sanctions compliance across global operations. As a global people leader, this role requires a dynamic leader with the ability to manage a diverse, international team and ensure compliance with international regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act, and global sanctions regimes. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally and globally, ensuring that the organization’s supply chain and third-party relationships align with legal and ethical standards. This role is pivotal in driving the organization’s global compliance efforts, particularly in managing third-party, supply chain, and sanctions risks while ensuring compliance with anti-corruption laws. The ideal candidate is a visionary global leader committed to fostering ethical practices across all regions and business operations.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

 

Global Third-Party Risk Management: Develop and oversee the global third-party risk management framework, ensuring a consistent, risk-based approach to onboarding, monitoring, and auditing third-party vendors, suppliers, and business partners. Lead efforts to assess and mitigate risks related to third-party relationships, focusing on bribery, corruption, sanctions, and reputational risks. Ensure third-party due diligence processes are effectively implemented globally, incorporating automated tools and regional nuances to streamline screening and risk classification. Anti-Corruption Compliance: Design and implement a global anti-corruption compliance program aligned with international laws (FCPA, UK Bribery Act) and regional legal requirements. Oversee global anti-corruption controls, including policies, procedures, and internal investigations into bribery and corruption allegations. Lead anti-corruption training programs, tailored to different regions, to promote global awareness and compliance. Supply Chain Due Diligence Develop and implement a robust supply chain due diligence program to ensure compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, human rights laws, and anti-corruption regulations. Ensure thorough assessments of supply chain partners to identify and mitigate risks related to corruption, sanctions, human trafficking, forced labor, and other compliance concerns. Collaborate closely with procurement, legal, and supply chain teams to incorporate due diligence processes into vendor selection and contract management. Sanctions Compliance: Establish and maintain global sanctions compliance programs to ensure adherence to U.S., EU, UK, and other international sanctions regimes. Monitor and assess global sanctions risks, ensuring that third-party relationships, supply chains, and transactions comply with applicable sanctions laws and regulations. Conduct sanctions screening and provide guidance on restricted party lists, embargoed regions, and sanctioned entities. Investigate potential sanctions violations in partnership with legal counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer and lead remediation efforts to address identified risks. Global Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of compliance professionals, fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Build strong relationships with regional leaders and key stakeholders to drive the adoption of third-party, supply chain, and sanctions compliance initiatives across all geographies. Provide leadership in global investigations, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring consistent application of global policies. Collaboration & Strategic initiatives: Work with legal, procurement, commercial, marketing, finance, and other departments to integrate compliance strategies into broader business initiatives. Serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing insights into global third-party, supply chain, anti-corruption, and sanctions risks. Support the company’s global response to regulatory inquiries, audits, and external investigations related to third-party, supply chain, and sanctions compliance in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer. Program Monitoring & Reporting: Establish global metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of third-party risk, supply chain due diligence, anti-corruption, and sanctions compliance programs, providing regular reports to senior leadership and the board. Conduct audits and assessments of global operations, third-party relationships, and supply chains to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions. Stay updated on changes to international regulations related to anti-corruption, sanctions, and supply chain governance, adjusting the compliance program as necessary.

 

Required Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country Bachelor's Degree 10 or more years of experience in compliance, third-party risk management, supply chain due diligence, or sanctions compliance 3 or more years of experience in a global role Extensive knowledge of international anti-corruption regulations (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act), global sanctions regimes (e.g., OFAC, EU Sanctions), and supply chain compliance standards Proven global leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop multicultural teams across multiple regions and time zones Strong experience with global supply chain compliance and third-party risk management tools and processes Ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions, providing clear guidance to regional and business leaders Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage effectively with senior leadership

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, or related field; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor  Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or similar Familiarity with compliance automation tools for third-party risk, supply chain monitoring, and sanctions screening
