What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill a junior manager level position within the Trade Expense Management function. This position will be responsible for a small team of individuals ensuring all invoices are received, reconciled and accounted for on a timely basis and in alignment with internal best practices and controls.

What will you do?

Oversight of a small team engaged in reconciliation and settlement of invoicesApproving payments and accounting journals, preparation and entry of accrualsFinancial analysis and creation of reports and summariesDeveloping new accounting flows and booking processesDefine and execute projects to improve efficiency and controlLiase with stakeholders in front office, finance and other areas of the firm
 

What you need to succeed?

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.3 - 5 years of prior relevant experienceExperience leading others in a manager, team lead or equivalent positionExperience working in an accounting focused role preferably with payments and allocationsKnowledge of wholesale markets and major execution and settlement service providersHighly organized with an attention to detail and an ability to analyze data and summarize resultsAbility to communicate information to trading business and senior managementAdvanced knowledge of Excel, SQL and payment / general ledger systems
