The Manager Trade Operations is accountable to effectively lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary business partners including but not limited to brand, supply chain, customer facing Specialty Pharmacy and Trade distribution directors, Institutional Business Group, JOM, Medical Information, finance, legal, and other SCG functional areas. The position will primarily focus on the management of all Trade Operations functions for the assigned Therapeutic Areas. The focus will be on working with internal and external business partners to ensure that the Trade Operations responsibilities for approved distribution models are implemented and operating in compliance with all internal processes and FDA approvals and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:Provides outstanding leadership for all key activities for product launches, pricing updates, divestitures, discontinuations, recalls, loss of exclusivity, JJPAF orders, clinical trial requests, pharmacy compendia, NDC, packaging and shipper change communications.Point of contact for product availability inquiries from the direct and indirect Janssen Customer facing and brand teamsPartners with JOM, Supply Chain, and Market Access Insights Analytics (MAIA) to support products with analytics, inventory monitoring, and order management processes for key brands.Prioritizes appropriate product days of supply with Finance and Channel Operations.Plan, adjust, prioritize and implement strategies to achieve results.Interpret large amounts of sophisticated and conflicting information from multiple sources and make timely and effective decisions.Additional responsibilities include the following:Cross-functional partnership: Works with Program owners, HCC, Privacy, Law Department, Finance, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial Excellence, Safety Services, CSC, Procurement, Brand Teams and vendors to ensure a smooth implementation of channel strategiesDeliver outstanding project management and clear communication between delivery model service providers and internal subject matter expertsDemonstrates conviction, proactivity and persistence when influencing others and overcoming resistanceBuild clear and concise communications and presentations using approaches that highlight the most pertinent information for key business partners and customers to initiate appropriate and timely executionInterpret results of data analysis and understand business implications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA preferred

3-5 years healthcare or relevant business experience requiredAbility to work with ambiguity while establishing structure and process standards is requiredAbility to lead teams and drive consensus is requiredDemonstrated project management skills is requiredA working knowledge of product distribution process, marketing, sales, and pricing is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills required

Job Duties Responsibilities for optimizing channel strategy across the US Janssen portfolio; and working closely with all Market Access Teams to accentuate takeaways. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
