Clarivate is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager for our User Experience team within the IP segment.

In this role, you will manage a team of UX designers and researchers, lead design reviews, oversee the implementation of design systems, and help drive the strategic roadmap for the product aligned with the overall company business objectives.

About You:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UXD, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.7+ years in UX design,3+ years of experience managing a team with direct reportsProven experience in B2B enterprise cloud solutions.Proficient in design tools: Figma, Sketch, Zeppelin, Maze, Pendo.Strong understanding of design principles, usability, and UX metrics.Experience with design systems across multiple products.Manage design processes from ideation to implementation.Strong portfolio showcasing design leadership and strategic thinking.

Ability to shape product design direction at a company-wide level.Excellent communication skills for presenting and defending designs.Advanced degree in HCI, design, or similar field.Experience leading development projects with user-centered design and agile practices.Understanding of accessibility standards and validation methods.Ability to apply analytics and usage data in user research.Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Experience in user research and usability testing.

What will you be doing in this role?...

Team Leadership & Management: Lead, manage and mentor the UX team, manage design processes, and foster creativity.Design Review: Ensure design consistency and usability, provide feedback, and implement guidelines.Design System: Maintain and integrate the design system with cross-functional teams.Backlog Management: Prioritize UX tasks and refine user stories with stakeholders.Strategic Roadmap: Develop the product roadmap, align UX with business goals, and drive innovation.Collaboration: Partner with various departments and advocate for user needs.

About the Team 

You’ll be managing a team of +10 talented colleagues based in distributed locations.You’ll be reporting to the Director, User Experience Design for Intellectual Property, based in Barcelona (Spain)You’ll be joining a UX/UI Global team with more than 50 colleagues across the globe, working from Barcelona Office and being part of a local fast pace growing design community.

Hours or Work

This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid going to our office in Barcelona (next to Sagrada Familia) 2-3 times per week.
