Overall job purpose
As the Australian and New Zealand reimbursement environment becomes increasingly challenging, Lilly ANZ must identify alternative pathways to achieving affordable patient access to our medicines. The Value & Access – Private Health role is responsible for delivering key projects to understand future payers and capability needs to successfully achieve patient access beyond national payers.
In addition to serving as a private payer subject matter expert, this role will also broadly support patient access initiatives of the Value & Access team, implementing prioritised projects to solve for evidence gaps, and supporting dossier development and payer materials as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as private healthcare and alternative payer subject matter expert within ANZ.
Support alternative access program (AAP) design through understanding of operational considerations, willingness to pay evidence (in-market data analytics and/or market research), and private healthcare environment.
Develop relationships with private healthcare sector stakeholders including private health insurers, private hospital networks and private health insurance industry association.
Form strategic partnerships with private health insurers to accelerate access to Lilly medicines.
Assess and improve private access (including self-pay) business processes.
Build and implement work plan to understand future payers and associated pricing, reimbursement and access capability needs. Where possible and as relevant, expand capability-building projects to North Asia Pacific hub.
Contribute to pricing, reimbursement and access strategies, reimbursement dossier content and payer materials as required.
Implement prioritized projects to support pricing, reimbursement and access strategy and patient access environment shaping activities.
