What YOU Will Do:
Serve as Program Lead with primary focus on Missile Control Actuation products and associated programs within Missiles divisionResponsible for profit & loss/financial performance to ensure business objectives are metImplements Missile Control Actuation business growth strategies to ensure that long-term goals are achievedProvide program execution expertise leading the Integrated Product Team through the life cycle tenets of the Collins Management SystemAccountable for the full value stream lifecycle of programs, products, and services from inception through completion and renewal, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plansLead in areas of planning and execution of complex systems, managing risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the businessEnsure adherence to program baselines and serve as the primary customer point of contact in communication of program statusDevelop strong knowledge of the customers to assist with addressing challenges due to unforeseen circumstances and can influence and negotiate elements with appropriate customers to achieve and/or exceed business commitments while improving customer satisfactionMaintain responsibility for schedule, performance, cost attainment, sales, and order forecasts, and present proposals, status reports and customer status to leadershipDrives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and qualityExercise and an understanding of Missile Control Actuation systems, production methods, development processes and support methodologiesQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We Prefer:
Excellent communications and team building skills; able to effectively communicate vision across the Integrated Product TeamExperience in leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment, particularly in aerospace or defense industries with the ability to apply critical thinking where incomplete data existsExperience in one of the following areas: Program Management, Manufacturing / Production or Project ManagementExperience managing Teams through influence rather than reporting structureStrong risk management & mitigation experience, with a background in managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with government contractual requirementsWhat We Offer:
