**Description**
**PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE**
Aveda and Bumble and bumble are seeking a Manager of Visual Merchandising & Store Design to work on the design conceptualization, coordination, and successful execution of in-store Visual Merchandising for Salons and Specialty-Multichannel Retail. The role involves translating the brands into to elevated and consistent VM look and feel while continuing to evolve the brand presence. Agility and understanding of design for different environments is critical. The designer will work collaboratively with all cross-functional departments.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Full design execution of all visual merchandising & store design requests managing phases of projects.
+ Additional focus on special projects and large-scale campaigns.
+ Attend meetings, present concepts, and report on status of current projects.
+ Execute and oversee development of merchandising guidelines.
+ Develop concepts and renders for in-store fixtures and displays.
+ Partner with Art directors for the creation of graphic design needs for VM units.
+ Participate in briefing, concept kickoff and all development session to discuss objectives and push innovation in program launches.
+ Demonstrate an understanding of materials, cost and time requirements on projects.
+ Maintain awareness of current trends in visual arts and merchandising.
**Qualifications**
+ Position requires 5+ years of experience, preferably in the beauty or fashion arena, in visual merchandising, industrial design, store planning, or a related field. Experience in salon retail or specialty multi-channel retailers (such as Sephora or Ulta) is needed.
+ Must have a can-do attitude and spirit with the ability to role with ever evolving needs and requests in a fast-paced environment.
+ The strong ability to translate brand storytelling into highly disruptive and engaging Visual Merchandising in a competitive retail environment.
+ Ability to both roll up sleeves to design as well as direct on both 2d and 3d projects.
+ Must be a clear communicator, with an ability to present creative while self-managing on timelines and due dates. A self-starter who can action on projects without prompting.
+ Excellent taste and design aesthetic.
+ Displays learning agility and ability to creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Strong eye for detail.
+ Able to build collaborative relationships.
+ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
+ Experience in SketchUp and 3D CAD/ Modelling and rendering experience on MAC platforms.
**Pay Range:**
The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$76,500.00** **to** **$125,650.00** **.** Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
