Job Description

The manager of well-being & benefits will lead the development and management of team member well-being programs and benefit offerings for both the US and Canada. This individual will collaborate across departments to ensure our team members have access to comprehensive, effective and engaging resources that support their physical, mental and financial well-being. 

Essential Functions

1.    Well-being strategy development: Implement and manage a holistic well-being program that addresses physical, mental and financial health. Monitor team member engagement and satisfaction with these initiatives to continuously improve and adapt the offerings.
2.    Benefits management: Oversee and administer the company’s benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, Life, disability and wellness incentives. Also, manage and run open enrollment.
3.    Team member engagement: Foster a supportive, healthy and inclusive workplace by organizing well-being initiatives, including workshops, well-being challenges and stress management resources. Promote mental health awareness and resources across the organization. 
4.    Data analysis and reporting: Track and analyze program participation, team member feedback and health-related metrics to assess the effectiveness of well-being and benefit programs. Report findings to director and recommend improvements. 
5.    Vendor management: Act as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, ensuring seamless administration and resolving any issues related to enrollment, claims and service. Assist in the evaluation of vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. 
6.    Compliance and best practices: Ensure all well-being and benefits programs are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices in team member well-being and benefits.
7.    Communication and education: Serve as a resource for team members by educating on the available benefits and well-being resources. Provide clear, accessible communication regarding changes to benefits offerings, deadlines and new initiatives.
8.    Role Model: The company’s behaviors and commitments that support the company’s common purpose, values and business ambitions.  
9.    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1.    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required and preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Health related area is preferred.
2.    Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred in benefits administration, employee wellness programs or related field.
3.    Strong understanding of health, well-being and benefits programs, as well as regulatory compliance.

4.    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization.
5.    Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
6.    Data-driven approach with experience in analyzing program metrics and presenting findings.
