WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert on our workforce management systems, guiding everything from labor reporting to scheduling processes that keep things running like clockwork. You'll also play a key part in making sure staffing levels align with operational needs, helping us maintain a balance between guest service and profitability. Whether it’s crunching the numbers on labor forecasts or leading exciting new initiatives, your efforts will directly influence the park’s success and keep the fun rolling!

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:Leading labor initiatives across the park by utilizing strong change management and communication skills to implement and standardize best practices.Overseeing and optimizing labor scheduling using workforce management (WFM) systems, dashboards, and reports, and providing feedback and recommendations based on data analysis to improve labor productivity.Analyzing historical trends and future projections to develop accurate labor forecasting, scheduling, and staffing plans that meet operational needs.Collaborating with department managers to refine labor programs, ensuring that innovative solutions and best practices are shared and implemented across all divisions.Serving as the WFM system owner, coordinating with Corporate WFM administrators and the Director of WFM to resolve system issues and manage upgrades.Defining and tracking key labor metrics, establishing clear reporting methods to provide park leadership with actionable insights into business performance.Staying current on park policies, procedures, and work processes, identifying recurring challenges and contributing to problem-solving efforts.Working with HR, internal audit, and management teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies, while aligning labor strategies with staffing needs and anticipated turnover.Managing associate training and certifications to ensure proper placement within the workforce.Performing additional duties as assigned by the Park President and Corporate Team.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience in labor management, operations, and data analysis.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in creating spreadsheets, writing formulas, and working with data.4+ years of experience in scheduling functions and system configuration for a workforce management platform (UKG preferred), with a strong understanding of scheduling compliance rules and regulations, including labor laws and company policies preferred.Familiarity with MS Access table maintenance and query design.Strong quantitative, analytical, and technical aptitude, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize labor performance.Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively in a group setting.Ability to meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support park operations.Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest service, following Six Flags Entertainment Corporation standards, including initiating guest interactions and addressing inquiries.A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company guidelines, and promptly reporting any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.Compliance with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation attendance policies, ensuring consistent availability to meet business demands.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to frequently sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing) hear, listen, communicate, walk, stand, bend, climb stairs/ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, handle, finger, grasp, lift up to 10 pounds.Must be able to occasionally stoop, twisting movements of torso, crouch/squat, crawl, kneel, balance, and reach overhead, lift up to 30 pounds.Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
