 SUMMARY

Reporting to the Account Lead, this role leads the delivery of workplace services including drawing and occupancy management, space planning, and MAC coordination. It also oversees the engagement of on-demand teams for relocation management, interior design, workplace strategy, and change management.

 

The Manager partners with clients to identify workplace needs and opportunities, collaborating with subject matter experts from the Workplace Solutions Centre of Excellence to develop tailored solutions. Work may be performed on-site at client locations or BGIS offices, depending on project requirements and support needs.

 KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

People Leadership

Demonstrates strong, competent leadership for team members to guide them in reaching their full potential and meeting their objectives, which supports achievement of our corporate goals. Specifically, these responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to all team members Manages all aspects of performance

 

Program Management

Oversee project and service schedules, budgets, and execution to meet client expectations and internal performance targets. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely, on-budget delivery aligned with client timelines and BGIS financial goals. Maintain standardized processes for scope, schedule, cost, quality, compliance, and risk management to ensure consistent and repeatable outcomes. Deliver client reporting aligned with agreed scope and data requirements. Plan and execute large-scale non-technical moves, adds, and changes, as well as facility planning initiatives. Source and recommend vendors; prepare cost estimates and resource plans. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring delivery meets scope, budget, and regulatory standards.

 

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts and internal business leaders to identify needs and deliver tailored solutions. Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consistent delivery of agreed outcomes. Collaborate with contractors and industry partners to support successful execution and resolve escalations effectively. Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance to ensure timely and quality service delivery. Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and driving positive experiences.

 

Continuous Improvement

Work with the BGIS Workplace Solutions Center of Excellence to ensure standards are maintained in accordance with best practices Other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

Proactive and driven Effective people and client relationship management skills At least 3 years’ experience related to industry standards and regulations Conceptual skills- visioning (services and client program needs) and problem solving (innovative solutions) Strong organizational and documentation skills Experience in consultative discovery and facilitation Experience in managing a distributed team Effective interpersonal skills, especially communication (verbal / written) and influencing skills Strong analytical skills in business case development and process management Experience with financial reporting and budget / cost management Specific experience and knowledge related to the assignment – churn, facility infrastructures, new construction, furniture, occupancy planning & management, design, engineering, client industry sector, government sector etc. Software proficiencies depending on assignment – Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, Power point, email, etc. Knowledge of Interior Design processes and methodologies in a corporate environment would be an asset Ability to prepare ROM pricing estimates for small fit out projects would be an asset Experience with Microsoft Suite of Products and AutoCAD Knowledge of IWMS applications would be an asset

 

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

 

NCIDQ, ARIDO would be an asset MCR is considered a bonus
