Aspirus Riverview Hospital is seeking a Manager of Laboratory to join our team!
The Manager- Laboratory Services plans, directs and oversees activities, programs, staff, and services for their responsible department(s) and location(s). The position develops and implements goals and objectives for assigned areas of responsibility in collaboration with Regional Director. The position implements and manages plans and budgets necessary to achieve goals. She/he will seek and consult leader, other departments and within the system functional team to ensure effective and efficient coordination of efforts. Oversees and directs the work of supervisory and non-supervisory employees as assigned and assures competency. In collaboration with the Regional Director, oversees all departmental services in accordance with applicable hospital standards, policies and procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements.Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE. Mainly day shift.
Experience Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related field required. Master’s degree desired.Laboratory training culminating in national certification: MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), or equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience laboratory clinical experience required. Leadership experience preferred.Employee Benefits
