We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Acquisition Integration Manager to play a key role in the integration of newly merged companies within our organization. This hands-on position is critical to ensuring the successful execution of merger-related integration projects, overseeing the operational and strategic alignment of merged businesses. The Acquisition Integration Manager will collaborate with internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to manage the complex integration process, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company goals. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and expertise in handling the specific challenges of mergers. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and manage integration projects related to company mergers, ensuring smooth alignment with organizational strategy and timely execution of all tasks.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including regional and national leaders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to create and implement comprehensive merger integration plans.
+ Visit target acquisition companies prior to and post-close to build relationships, conduct change management activities and project manage the integration process.
+ Support the due diligence phase of the merger process by gathering, organizing, and managing critical documents and data from both internal and external sources.
+ Collaborate with leadership teams to define key objectives and metrics for the integration, ensuring that business operations and corporate culture align post-merger.
+ Oversee necessary updates to documents, policies, and data, ensuring compliance with external regulatory bodies and governmental organizations throughout the merger process.
+ Monitor and track the progress of integration activities, ensuring all timelines and objectives are met.
+ Provide regular updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders, offering detailed reports on integration milestones and progress.
+ Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling merger-related meetings, creating and modifying presentations, and maintaining both electronic and paper files.
+ Use project management and presentation software to track and report on key integration milestones and deliverables.
+ Up to 70% travel.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Project Management, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
+ 3-4 years of hands-on experience in merger integration, change management, project management, business operations, or similar fields.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Experience managing the integration of companies following a merger, with an understanding of the challenges involved in aligning organizational cultures, systems, and processes.
+ Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
+ Prior experience with HR processes, including benefits and 401k plans, is a plus.

+ Proactive approach to problem-solving and execution of integration plans.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and foster relationships with employees, leadership, and external partners.
+ Ability to navigate complex merger-related situations with tact, diplomacy, and respect for different corporate cultures.
