Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (XOCOM) is accepting applications for the position of Organizational Change Manager. This job leads strategic program efforts for the organization by effectively managing a set of strategic initiatives, leveraging project management, quality improvement, design/systems thinking, operational excellence, business process reengineering, change management, and process improvement core capabilities. Interfaces directly with executive team to drive program strategy and to efficiently achieve project objectives. Leads multidisciplinary teams to meet or exceed targeted goals through expert level program management. In February 2024, the Xavier University of Louisiana Board of Trustees and the Ochsner Health Board of Directors approved the partnership to develop the Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (XOCOM). Becoming the fifth allopathic Historically Black College and University (HBCU) medical school in the country. Education
Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Health, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related.

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.

Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.

Job Duties
Leads impactful strategic initiatives, ensuring program goals are achieved within budgetary, time, and organizational parameters.
Leads program communication strategy though clear articulation of ideas to project team and critical interfacing with senior leaders.
Develops program curriculum and serves as instructor for PMO training programs.
Shapes strategic approach of programs, builds governance infrastructure, facilitates solution design, and drives execution.
Applies project management methodologies and tools to efficiently navigate the project lifecycle.
Leverages sponsors to plan and direct work, remove obstacles, and hold team accountable for results.
Identifies and applies appropriate improvement science approach (DMAIC, PDSA, blend) to solve process design problems.
Analyzes and visualizes data to provide insight and encourage action from team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
