Salary Range: $76,000K – 81,500K

Position Summary: Responsible for managing projects relating to development and dissemination of best practices in network crisis center service delivery, particularly those that require dissemination in Spanish. Duties include managing all projects related to the dissemination of clinical best practices and standards and clinical technical assistance provided to the 988 Lifeline network in Spanish. Supervises clinical support to the Spanish Lifeline subnetwork centers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Oversee all activities related to the development and dissemination of clinical best practices and standards for crisis counseling in Spanish.
+ Supervise provision of Spanish guidance and information on best practices and standards to crisis centers.
+ Supervise the translation of existing best practice guidance to ensure that guidance is culturally responsive and consistent across resources.
+ Oversee the provision of Spanish technical assistance and coaching to current and onboarding Lifeline network centers around clinical issues.
+ Facilitate collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
+ Monitor trends and oversee creation of guidance documents and other resources to help all centers increase competence in supporting Spanish-speaking 988 contacts.
+ Generate and present on relevant clinical best practices and standards for a national audience.
+ Provide oversight for issues related to Spanish-speaking high frequency contacts and challenging contacts, offering technical assistance to centers on assisting these contacts locally.
+ Develop and disseminate formal protocols and guidance for centers around familiar contacts in Spanish.
+ Expand clinical expertise in the provision of assistance to high frequency contacts in Spanish.
+ Monitor trends and oversee creation of tip sheets and other resources to help all centers with common areas of concern around working with familiar, high frequency or challenging contacts in Spanish.
+ Interface with Equity & Belonging team to ensure integration of identified best practices into Lifeline content and support.
+ Serve as a liaison to other Vibrant departments regarding issues of clinical service delivery that impact Spanish-speaking contacts and crisis counselors and require the provision of clinical technical assistance in Spanish.
+ Lead projects to expand Lifeline’s ability to offer expertise to crisis centers in new areas
+ Supervise clinical support to Spanish subcontracted centers (National Back-Up Network, Spanish Subnetwork)
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and interface with training team to ensure Lifeline best practices are integrated into all Spanish language trainings
+ Support Standards, Training and Practices Division’s efforts to promote a community of practice regarding Suicide Prevention among crisis centers through related discussions on the Lifeline Network Centers Facebook Group, industry-related listservs, and other network communications
+ Represent Lifeline at major national or regional conferences and advisory committees
+ Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:
+ Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Experience working with G Suite products, including google sheets and google forms
Qualifications: Experience, Education and Certifications:
+ Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal communication.
+ 5+ years of experience working for a crisis counseling hotline, preferably providing direct service to Spanish speaking individuals.
+ 5+ years of experience in a supervisory leadership role, including the provision of regular supervision, performance appraisals, and coaching.
+ Familiarity with the non-profit sector.
+ Experience reporting to funders and facilitating collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
+ Experience with public speaking and generating clinical presentation content, preferably for a national audience.
+ Experience managing large scale potentially organizational wide projects and initiatives.
+ Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
+ Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
+ Lived experience related to mental health concerns or suicide welcome but not required.
+ Certification as a crisis worker from the International Association for Helplines or the American Association of Suicidology is a plus but not required

Language Requirements
+ Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish
Travel Requirements
+ Approximately 2-3% of travel time required to attend meetings and conferences
