Position Summary:
The PD Limit Team Manager 2, oversees a team of property damage specialists who are responsible for assessing damages by claimants and/or subrogation demands from claimant carriers with liability coverage insufficient to cover all related property damage liability claims.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor and track performance utilizing tools available (audits, file reviews, reports) to reinforce adjuster behaviors needed for quality productivity. Oversee development of staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training claim adjusters. Provide coaching and counseling on performance in a timely manner and conducts regular developmental discussions with adjusters. Maintain file review diary. Review and approve reserve and authority requests as appropriate. Conduct monthly file audits to ensure compliance with company guidelines and state laws are met in all phases of claims resolution. Work in multiple internal and external computer systems on a daily basis. Other duties or projects as assigned by senior management.Position Qualifications:
A minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a management role. A minimum of five (5) years prior experience in auto physical damage and liability handling Four (4) year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Adjuster license required. Must obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses. Must have good analytical skills necessary to evaluate staff production requirements and results, problem solving, and internal reporting. Must have good written and verbal communication and math skills. Must have the ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner.
