What you'll bring
+ BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
+ 3+ years experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered impactful business solutions
+ Passion for technology with a minimum of 8-12 years of software development and services experience, preferably with experience in Security or Identity and Access Management Experience with cloud computing in AWS, web services, and CI/CD strongly desired
+ Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams
+ Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders Adept at articulating the product vision and driving the future roadmap with strong business acumen
+ Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track in a distributed global engineering ecosystem
+ Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
+ Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience
+ Possess a strong understanding and perspective on AI technology, its applications in software development, testing, security (identity and access management), and user interaction with custom services; prior experience and knowledge of implementation techniques is highly preferred
+ Experience with Agile software development
How you will lead
+ Lead and grow a high performing engineering team to deliver Quickbooks shared experiences such as Navigation, Onboarding, GTKM etc
+ Create an environment where world class engineers can do the best work of their lives In this role you will help to bring out the best ideas from the best engineers by empowering them and leading by example
+ Instil and drive software engineering standards and best practices with the team to maximize engineering excellence and developer productivity
+ Employ strong business and technical acumen to guide the team (customer obsession, strategic thinking, asking the right questions, sweating the details)
+ Create shared vision, build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partners and stakeholders
+ Partner with Product Management to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and incorporate new features into existing products
+ Manage DevOps to quickly resolve issues and continuously improve
+ Build a culture of Innovation, technical and operational excellence on the team
+ Develop business cases for developing new capabilities and conduct resource estimation to justify spend for new capabilities
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $206,500 - $279,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits) (https://www.intuit.com/careers/benefits/full-time-employees/) . Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
