Overview The Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) Product Growth team represents a new approach to accelerating business outcomes through a data-driven and surgical approach to product funnel optimization. Focused on driving progress on the most critical opportunities across the business, our team combines deep analytics, customer discovery, rapid execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize key product funnels. Our work also establishes foundational growth frameworks and platform level investments that serve as a center of excellence and empower the broader organization. This team and its charter are being built from the ground up, with a relentless focus on assembling world-class growth talent passionate about defining the future of Product Growth at Intuit. As a Group Manager of Data Science on the Product Growth team, you will lead the data science efforts that power identification and execution of high-impact growth initiatives, balancing rapid experiments for immediate results with long-term investments that drive scalable growth across business units and ultimately the company. You will own the analysis, insights, and modeling to unlock critical product funnel optimizations, leveraging data and experimentation to deliver measurable outcomes. In this role, you will partner closely with the Vice President, Product Growth and team up with Product, Engineering, and Design teammates to drive step-function conversion improvements across the most important customer experiences. This role presents an opportunity to build a high-impact Data Science team from the ground up and to work in a fast-paced function delivering customer and business outcomes at scale. What you'll bring + 10+ years of experience in analytics and data science, spanning across web, product, marketing, or other related data science fields. + 3-5 years experience managing data analysts and data scientists with a proven track record of building high-performing analytics and data science teams from the ground up and developing successful analysts/data scientists. + Demonstrated ability to deeply analyze customer data to identify opportunity areas and inform product and customer experience improvements. Deep customer empathy and a strong commitment to customer centricity, serving as a fierce advocate for customer needs throughout the growth process. + Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize data to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and measure outcomes. Proven ability to partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional partners to drive impact on business outcomes. + Strong expertise in experimentation and data-driven hypothesis formation is a must-have. Direct experience with Product Growth teams removing customer friction and driving funnel optimization is a plus. + Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel, with expertise in advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python a plus. + Strong modeling foundation is a plus, including hands-on expertise with data mining and statistical modeling techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, tree-based methods, neural nets, support vector machines, anomaly detection, and natural language processing. + A great storyteller and communicator and can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical colleagues. + Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end and drive organizational change via depth of insight, clarity of strategy, and executional rigor. + Bias for action, with a track record of delivering results through agile, iterative processes. + Ability to balance short-term wins with long-term growth strategies. + Familiarity with AI-driven optimization and personalization techniques. How you will lead + Set a clear vision and roadmap for data science work powering growth initiatives across multiple time horizons, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive growth outcomes. + Build end-to-end data view of customer experience for prioritized funnels and derive insights and hypotheses that drive experimentation roadmap. + Develop and grow a high-performing data science team for Product Growth, and partner closely with other data science teams across GBSG to extend learnings and execution blueprint beyond the Product Growth team. + Drive strategic thinking on optimization opportunities across the most important customer journeys, combining rigorous analysis of behavioral data, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of customer objectives/needs. + Co-own experimentation with Growth Product Managers, maximizing learnings from every experiment that is run and accelerating pace of experimentation to maximize outcomes. + Partner with Product and Engineering to uncover growth opportunities through data insights and opportunities to improve instrumentation and logging across GBSG’s portfolio of products. + Establish and track key metric goals and counter metrics to ensure sustainable growth outcomes that are deeply customer centric. + Serve as a lighthouse example for understanding, identifying, and executing high-impact growth work, setting a gold standard for growth practices across GBSG and beyond.
