Gas Bar and Truck Stop Manager li Responsibilities The person working in this position is required to make sure that both management and operational aspects of the work are handled and that issues are handled Understands security requirements Receives merchandise from vendorssuppliers and compares each item to provided lists to ensure that the right amount and type of items have been delivered Actively promotes an environment conducive to highquality customer service and employee relations by being a positive leadership exle Responsible for scheduling payroll disciplinary actions training and mentoring for gas bar staff Responsible for daily operations of the gas bar including ordering inventory and inventory controls Responsible for building sales and managing expenses The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work late nights weekends and holidays Must be able to complete all other related duties assigned Qualifications years experience in the gas and truck stop industry years demonstrated experience in management with gas retail and truck stop Excellent written and oral communication skills Inventory management experience Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft word Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment Ability to work independently Must have strong leadership skills Must be able to work shift work
