Job Summary:

Altus Group is seeking a Manager in Property Tax to support the team in Atlanta. Your responsibilities will include project management with a focus on client service and retention. The manager role oversees the execution of project scope as performed by consultants and determined by supervisors. They will also be responsible for complex analysis and may be involved with account settlement under the supervision of leadership. There are in-office expectations for this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Client service and retention: Protect, renew, and expand existing clients. Uphold standards for service. Responsive to all client requests. Clearly communicate project status and information requests to the client in a way that promotes confidence in Altus work product. Seek to be a trusted advisor of all clientsProject management: Implementing a project plan to meet scope requirements. Supervise employees, as appropriate, to ensure work completion. Communicate analysis results and status to supervisors and clients. Billing and monitoring project profitability. Ensure all systems are updated for projected revenue and timing, and staffing of personnelTechnical Expertise: Execution of highly technical research, analysis and project support that requires service line knowledge. Execution of project scope through implementation of advanced functions, automation, and other technologies as needed. Sharing of technical knowledge with others. Clear understanding of valuation concepts and support needed to present a case to an assessorSupervision and training of others Review the work product of others to ensure work is performed in accordance with Altus standards and project scope. Provide technical instruction and training to others, including timely feedback on work productNegotiation and case settlement: Oversee the preparation of support used to settled cases and present at hearings by supervisors. Reviewing assessments for appeal opportunities and providing reasoning for appeal decisions. Handling discussions with assessors that are routine and/or continuation of previously negotiated settlements

Key Requirements:

Must have an undergraduate/Bachelors degreeExpert in field of study, property tax, commercial real estate or similarExpert in Property Tax3 years experience with Property TaxStrong project management skillsStrong CommunicationStrong problem solving skills
