Key Responsibilities:

Within this role at United employee tools strategy and Innovation, you will be responsible to partner with Digital Technology and operating groups across the customer service delivery organization to problem solve customer and employee pain points, enable our growth strategy, prioritize innovation opportunities. This will manage development of new products, improvements, updates and fixes to employee facing tools. You will be part of the Customer Strategy and Innovation team, maintaining the team roadmap, managing work intake, and ensuring the team delivers on commitments effectively and efficiently by building relationships with stakeholders to build consensus, execute projects successfully, and facilitate measurement of success.

This is a Chicago or Houston-based hybrid role that will require weekly in office work and up to 40% travel.

· Analyze and document business requirements user stories to support company objectives, dept objectives, business processes and functional requirements

· Define user processes with supporting flow diagrams and cross functional details

· Interact with business partners, enterprise project teams, and channel teams to understand their needs and priorities

· Conduct and participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements

· Prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information

· Review and validate UAT test plans

· Support the UAT team during test execution

· Monitor progress of deliverables, keep dependent teams and projects informed on progress

· Leverage user ideas and feedback to continually reduce complexity and simplify process

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

· Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

· Minimum 4 years of direct experience in airport operations and/or software product management including writing/translating requirements

· Experience working with cross-functional, global teams to deliver commitments on-time and on-budget.

· Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products

· Strong multi-tasker, proven experience handling multiple roles and projects simultaneously.

· Excellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills

· Attention to detail

· Strong planning organizational skills

· Strong communication skills - verbal, written and presentation

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

· Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

· Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):· Experienced with both agile and waterfall

· Solid knowledge of product management standard processes, functional design and application delivery methodology

· Experience using JIRA, Data Dog, or Quantum Metrics

· Knowledge of project management methodology and some project management

· Product Owner experience

· Aviation industry knowledge
