Pay: $110,000 to 160,000/Year

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in plant management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and productivity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee production planning, scheduling, and sequencing of line build schedules, including daily adjustments based on material and labor availability.Maintain active employee communications, including shop floor presence and facilitating scheduled communications like weekly planning and daily meetings with line supervisors.Engage with department and line workers to build strong working relationships, understanding key personnel and informal interpersonal relationships that support team performance.Support unobstructed employee engagement by allowing Supervisors and ProductionManagers to speak for themselves and being an active listener.Work to support the production line by removing roadblocks and obtaining budgeted requirements when necessary.Implement basic Lean initiatives to support continuous process improvements.Manage full Plant P&L, accountable for meeting financial targets, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, or construction management. Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential. Technology aptitude, including the use of data analytics, ERP systems, and automation tools, is a major asset.Previous experience in a leadership role within a growing company preferred. Quality management system experience is helpful.MRP and solid computer experience desired.5 or more years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial operation.
