Job Summary\:

The Manager in the College of Science & Technology’s Biology division is responsible for the overall management of the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program operations at Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Center (FTIG) in Annville, Pennsylvania. The ITAM program is a core program of the Sustainable Range Program, and the Manager will provide technical support to the installation to maintain the land, range, and training facilities. The Manager will also provide technical support and coordination to balance needs for Army training and facilities management with the goal of sustainable land management. The Manager will also supervise personnel providing technical support in vegetation and environmental assessment, invasive species control, habitat enhancement and restoration, and mapping projects employing Geographic Information Systems. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is based at Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Center (FTIG) in Annville, Pennsylvania which is approximately 100 miles outside of Philadelphia. 

Required Education & Experience\:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Geographic Information Systems and at least six years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities\:

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Great leadership quality. Ability to interact with a diverse group of colleagues. Expertise in Geographic Information Systems. Prior experience working in or with the military, especially Range Operations.

This position does require a background check.
