Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
As Manager – Strategic Planning, you’ll lead decision-making, analytics, reporting, and data management for aircraft maintenance planning. You’ll drive projects that balance routine maintenance and special modification projects, ensuring cost efficiency and safety while supporting fleet optimization.
Lead regular reviews of airframe activity, analyzing trends in fleet, labor, and facilities to enhance operational efficiency.Develop and implement aircraft maintenance strategies to optimize costs and ensure safety.Provide detailed performance analysis for maintenance checks, identifying opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with Production and Support teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Manage resource allocations to support maintenance check activity and ensure alignment with senior leadership.Coordinate maintenance planning with internal and external facilities to meet airframe heavy check requirements.Partner with production leadership and support departments to align activities with strategic maintenance goals.Find your future at United

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.At least 2 years of experience in strategy, planning, forecasting, continuous improvement, or maintenance/aircraft scheduling.Proficiency in data analysis and quantitative modeling techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, optimization, simulation).Strong project management and prioritization skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels, including executives.Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
