About the Role
As a Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a number of private equity client relationships and overseeing the onshore and offshore team members managing the accounting and reporting functions.
You will need to be a qualified accountant with 4 years of experience in private equity fund administration for Irish structures and all associated CBI regulatory reporting associated with these vehicles. You will be expected to have excellent written and verbal communications skills, a proven ability to multi-task, and outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.
Your Responsibilities
Manage multiple client relationships, including scheduling and meeting all client deliverables.Oversee the preparation of financial statements, partner capital statements and the underlying work papers.Act as subject matter expert on accounting standards applied to Irish fund vehicles and CBI regulatory reporting.Participate in new business discussions with prospects and existing clients.Prepare goals and career development plans for direct reports and complete performance appraisals.Oversee and assist with the preparation and review of management fee calculations and waterfall models.Oversee and assist with the preparation and delivery of drawdown and distribution notices to limited partners.Establish procedures and recommend changes to policies.Advise staff and partners with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules and to develop solutions to issuesYour Experience
Post qualification minimum 4 years of experience dealing with and reporting on Irish Structures, with emphasis on associated CBI regulatory reporting.Demonstrated ability to critically and constructively review prepared financial statements in IFRS / US GAAP.Knowledge of Irish GAAP for tax reporting on Irish vehicles would be an advantage.Strong background in review of fund and deal related legal documents.Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers, financial statements etc.Team player with the ability to coordinate deliverables within a team – this will be very important as cross-team interaction is critical to the smooth running of the group.An understanding of the control environment associated with private equity administration.Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent follow-up, analytical and problem solving skills.
