Manager/Accounting

Position Summary: Manages, directs, plans and coordinates the general Accounting Department functions including financial reporting, day to day accounting, property management, insurance, tax compliance and reporting, management reporting and to administer the policies of Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) and its affiliated corporations related to these areas.

Position Requirements

Certified Public Accountant designation required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.  Minimum of 5 years experience, in a similar position. Management/Leadership experience required. Self directed with a high level of initiative. Not-for-profit/healthcare experience desired. Budgeting or cost accounting experience in a healthcare financial setting with reimbursement exposure desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong analytical skills necessary. Strong experience in Windows based spreadsheet software required. Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred. Experience with Windows based word processing and database software desired. Knowledge of Lawson General Ledger a plus.
