Overarching goal is to re-connect with Berlin’s next Gen and to drive relevant subculture to build brand heat sustainably across our eco-system physically and digitally.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an exceptionally creative, experienced, and forward-thinking Brand Communications Manager to join our Key City Activation team in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of creating groundbreaking brand activations across categories. You will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of activations including the creative concept development together with creative agencies, the execution of shootings and events but also the comms strategy across touchpoints. You will be able to implement your very profound interest in sports and fashion to create brand consideration and love with our consumers and ultimately drive sales for adidas in Berlin and beyond.
You will be working closely with PR, Membership, Culture and Sports Marketing, Publishing as well as the European and Global Brand Comms team. We are looking for someone who can connect the dots and creates magic in pushing for pioneering ideas and marrying the world of sports and lifestyle.
· Co-develop activations in order to successfully place adidas in Berlin and to raise its awareness within target group.
· Drive knowledge management and KPI tracking for physical and digital activations.
· Support activation planning and implementation across different touchpoints (LAUNDROMAT, Sportsbase and other brand led activations inc Union Berlin, ALBA Berlin or SCC, adidas Runners)
· Facilitate the project management to support Director Brand Activation
· Oversee budget controlling and compliant invoicing of activations
· Act as key point of contact for brand communications and Publishing team on activation implementation
· Support in agency briefings and management for productions
· Performing evaluations and preparing reports in collaboration before and after activation e.g. precap/recap decks
· Partner with Membership Senior Manager in providing digital deliverables for local initiatives (EURO, Laundromat etc) e.g.
o Assets for .com, push notifications etc.
o Experience set up in the adidas app and .com
o Copywriting
· Prepare key updates to Central SLT
· Work independently and collaborate across multiple departments esp. analytics, production agency, Brand, Culture marketing, Sportsbase team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· University degree in Business, Marketing or related
· 2- 4 years related experience
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
· Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities
· Strong project management skills and excellent self-organization
· Digital affinity and knowledge e.g. channels, social media, adiClub
· Professional communication and proven networking skills
· Solution-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
· Interest in Sports industry
· German language is an advantage
