This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated leader to serve as the inaugural APP Manager of Pulmonary Critical Care and design and build an APP team.

The APP Manager will provide administrative support to HFMG Pulmonary Critical Care APPs including setting and managing expecta for APPs, ensuring credentialing, privileging, onboarding, and orientation are performed to an exemplary degree. 

Leader will also support APP education, benefit, and salary issues, and participating on the appropriate Henry Ford Health committees that impact these providers as required.

Time commitment is approximately 70% administrative and 30% clinical practice, or as determined by leadership.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) OR Master's prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with NP board certification in their chosen specialty.  Five (5) years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. 3 years of ICU experience Minimum of two (2) years of formal leadership with direct experience supervising staff

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant licensure in the State of Michigan and current National Board Certification by approved accrediting bodies. Current ACLS or BLS as required.
