Inviting applications for the role of Manager- Agile Business Analyst, Reference Data
We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join our team and support our reference data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agile methodologies and a background in reference data management, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Agile Business Analyst - Reference Data
- Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to gather and analyze business requirements for reference data management
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure user stories are clearly defined and prioritized
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide feedback to development teams
- Identify and document any issues or risks related to reference data management
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements
- Continuously monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential roadblocks or delays
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the reference data management process and ensure alignment with industry best practices
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Minimum years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in reference data management
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data analysis and data mapping
- Knowledge of reference data standards and industry best practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in project management tools and techniques
- Certification in Agile methodologies is a plus
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in QA and conformance testing
- Knowledge of accounting and basic terminologies used in the financial services sector
- Knowledge of project management and change management principles
- Knowledge of MS suite of products including Power point, Share point etc.
