The Global Construction and Infrastructure (GCI) Division has an exciting opportunity for an **Manager Analytics.** As the Sales and Marketing arm for Excavation, Earthmoving and Load & Haul, GCI operates all around the globe to support customers and dealers in a highly competitive environment.
As the **Manager Analytics** , you will be responsible for leading the Insights Team, developing data-driven strategies and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. This role supports the Sales & Marketing teams in telling compelling stories with data that empowers organizational leaders to make better and more informed decisions. Collaboration with various departments and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data is also a key part of the role. The position requires a strong background in data analysis, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Lead and manage the analytics team to deliver high-quality data analysis and insights.
+ Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business objectives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address analytical needs.
+ Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data.
+ Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
+ Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy across the world to leverage regional development into our worldwide organization
+ Identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goal
**What You Have:**
+ **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Expert knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
+ **Project Management:** Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion, utilizing project management tools and methodologies to track progress and manage resources
+ **Organizational Leadership:** Lead and inspire a team of analysts to achieve high performance and professional growth, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
+ **Analytical & Problem-solving skills:** Approach challenges with a logical and analytical mindset, identifying root causes of issues and developing innovative solutions. Knowledge of data science and statistical methods to identify trends and insights is a plus.
**Top Candidates Also Have:**
+ Demonstrated experience in diverse business areas, including project management, strategy development, and analytics (typically 8+ years).
+ Experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion.
+ Proficiency in Office 365 suite of tools, and good knowledge of Power BI
+ University degree preferably a Master in Statistics, Finance or Management.
**Additional Information:**
+ A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
+ Limited Travel requirements (10-20%)
+ Hybrid work policy: 3 days per week from the Geneva office.
