Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with expertise in Solution Design, Lean methodologies, and Agile frameworks to drive our strategic objectives and advance our OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). This role requires a resourceful, action-oriented leader who can seamlessly integrate Lean and Agile principles to manage projects, collaborate with director-level partners, and deliver innovative, scalable solutions to complex problems.
The ideal candidate will possess robust project management capabilities, an owner's mindset, and a passion for operational excellence. This individual will play a pivotal role in stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and driving technical solutions while championing Agile practices to ensure adaptability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives with a strong focus on Agile practices, ensuring timely and successful execution aligned with strategic objectives.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver impactful results.
• Partner with director-level stakeholders to identify, assess, and drive opportunities for change and improvement.
• Serve as a change management advocate, ensuring smooth transitions during process improvements and project implementations.
Agile Frameworks
• Incorporate Agile methodologies to foster iterative, incremental development and continuous improvement across projects.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring teams stay aligned and deliver value.
• Drive a culture of agility, adaptability, and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
• Act as a Scrum Master when required, ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles and practices.
Solution Design & Lean Skills
• Conduct comprehensive needs analysis and engage stakeholders to understand pain points and improvement areas.
• Map out current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
• Design and implement tailored solutions, with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Lead efforts to solve complex operational challenges, working hands-on as needed to deliver results.
Automation & Technical Expertise
• Collaborate with developers and automation teams to build requirements, create test cases, and oversee operational risk reviews.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, from conceptualization to operationalization.
• Identify and execute automation opportunities in partnership with technical teams, leveraging Agile sprints to deliver incremental progress.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Act as the primary lead for developers in the SLGS team, ensuring alignment on project goals, deliverables, and milestones.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments and with key partners to drive initiatives forward.
• Champion a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of leading successful projects, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Agile Expertise: Demonstrated ability to apply Agile methodologies and frameworks, including experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach.
• Owner's Mindset: Ability to take initiative, think critically, and act decisively to overcome challenges.
• Change Management: Experience driving and managing change across large teams or organizations.
• Lean Skills: Green Belt or Black Belt certification (or willingness to attain it post-hire).
• Solution Design: Strong analytical skills with experience in process flow creation and optimization.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with automation tools, technical solutioning, and process improvement strategies.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with director-level partners and cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Experience:
• Experience similar to Tiffany Leslie in Canada, demonstrating advanced project management, Agile, and solution design capabilities.
• A proven ability to "get in the weeds" to solve big problems and deliver tangible outcomes.
• Background in operational risk assessments, automation initiatives, and driving efficiency.
