Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.5+ years of experience in proposal management or RFP development.Job Summary
Lead the team responsible for managing the intake, development, and delivery of proposals and bids, collaborating with leadership to set goals and develop strategies to ensure success. Deliver efficient, accurate, and customized RFP and bid responses that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition while driving sales growth and profitability.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including developing standardized processes and templates to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely submissions aligned with company goals.Collaborate with internal partners to create and maintain a comprehensive library of proposal responses that address customer challenges and highlight the company’s value, products, and services.Lead and mentor a team of Proposal Specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to deliver best-in-class, on-time RFP responses.Set team goals, balance workloads, and ensure team members have the tools and knowledge to craft competitive responses.Foster strong cross-functional relationships with teams such as Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Sales to support the RFP process.Identify and implement process improvements, emphasizing workflow standardization, technology, and automation to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Nature and Scope

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.No travel required.Education and Experience
